So, I told my first little white lie to Boo today. As usual, he was playing away with his cars on the laminate flooring and if you have toddlers, you will know that the sound of toy car/truck/fire engine/ambulance/police car wheels on the hard flooring are EXTREMELY loud, especially when Mummy is trying to catch up on Coronation Street. I turned to Boo and (I think this is genius!) said “Boo , can we please play with the cars on the carpet – that’s why it’s called a CARpet. You play with cars on it!” Sometimes, I think I’m hilarious :D Boo still insists on playing on the laminate, ho hum, I tried.
2nd Little White Lie: Boo has a complete aversion to having his photo taken lately and runs away from me covering his face shouting “No-er!” I was desperate to get a pic of his mucky face after some flour-play at nursery so I told him there was a little mouse living in my phone and he could see it if he stood still and looked at the lense. Needless to say he cottoned on after a few seconds but was still long enough for me to get the photo :D
