Mummy Mugshot #14 – Wahooooooo!

This weekend we went to our local Soft Play Centre to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to get a photo for Mummy Mugshot this week.

I wasn’t sure if I would make it up to he top of the big slide on account of pulling a chest muscle coughing too hard over Christmas.  You have to go to hell and back to get to the slide. Off we went, through Rollers, Bat Caves, across Suspended Cargo nets (which as far as my poor feet are concerned are the spawn of the devil).
Any hoo, doing my best Indiana Jones impression, we got to the top where much to my annoyance, despite being briefed to be ready with the camera before we went up, Scatty Dad was across the other side of the centre arsing about on his phone!

Before he had time to get over to the slide, we had a queue forming behind us so we abandoned the photo opportunity and slid down.  I wasn’t very impressed I’d have to drag me and Pooh Bear up again so Scatty Dad was given ‘the evils’ and I just might have said “What is wrong with you!” ;)

Off we set again and this time ‘he’ was ready…

This is the first time we’ve tried the continuous photos option and although understandably the quality isn’t mint, it perfectly illustrates the fun we had.

I’d love to see what you got up to this week so if you’d like to join in with Mummy Mugshot, grab my badge and comment with your link and I’ll add it to the main body of this post.

  1. I am joining your Mummy Mugshot pledge as I don’t think I have enough photos of me with my girls either and love the sentiment behind it! So here’s my first one – the obligatory snow photo: http://fadedseasidemama.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/mummy-mugshot-1-alternative-transport/

  2. Amazing photos!!! I need to remember to get a mummy mugshot! I have ordered a remote control for my camera which should make it easier. x

  3. I love those slides but came off the side of 1 on a pier so steer clear of them now!

  4. Your continuous photos work really well – great sense of speed!
My older ones get a bit embarrassed now when I slide with them :(
