It finally arrived…

Hoorah! Today it snowed hard enough and long enough to stick, much to Spud’s amazement.  He’s been desperate to see some of the white stuff since Christmas and all the snowy scenes on TV, Christmas cards and in books etc.

Today was the day and it was also the first time Pooh Bear has seen snow.

We got the sledge out and the boys loved it until…

…Scatty Dad ignored my warnings not to try and tip them out of the sledge whilst pulling them and Pooh Bear, whose hands were getting chilly by now, ended up with a face quite literally full of snow (he refused to wear gloves and isn’t quite at an age where we can fully negotiate yet).

Daddy got an ear full and Pooh Bear and I retired inside to watch something dinosaur related before we had chance to make anything out of snow.   Here’s hoping it snows tonight and our garden will be a blank canvas again in the morning :)

This post is linking up to Childcare is Fun’s Snowtastic linky and also Coombe Mill’s Country Kids so if you’re nosey like me, pop over and see what everyone else has been getting up to.
