We’ve all pretty much recovered from the flu now and since we’ve been ill since before Christmas, it has ruined the festive period somewhat. We can’t really complain though. It could be worse and I’m glad my energy has returned and Scatty Dad and I spent this afternoon sorting the house out and packing Christmas away for another year.
I was hoping for my Mummy Mugshots of the past few weeks to show us playing together over Christmas enjoying each other’s company but that wasn’t to be. The boys have been making up for it this weekend and making the most of their new toys.
They’re both really enjoying making us food in their new kitchen and Pooh Bear is taking his dinosaur obsession to new highs (or lows depending on how you look at it). He constantly roars at us doing his best T-Rex impression and even Spud begged us not to put his Dinosaur DVD on again today. I admit I was hardly a dino enthusiast before I had children and I’m even less of one now but I’d be a massive asset in a pub quiz should you ever need to name a dinosaur for each letter of the alphabet :D
I tried to get an action shot of Pooh Bear roaring but this was the best we could do…

Have you been enjoying your children’s new toys over the holidays? Please feel free to link up and grab my badge if you have a lovely photo of you and your offspring you’d like to share and comment with your link which I will add to the main body of this post.

I’d love to link up a post to this but sadly my Apple Mac where my photos are, is currently at PC World. Great post though. Love it when we “get in the picture” but sadly I am normally behind the camera. I sometimes stick my arm out and point the camera at us and hope for the best and they always turn out great but due to the arm’s length nature of it are sadly normally head and shoulders. I know when I look back in years to come I will be sad there are not enough photos with me in them but it feels like my husband is always either asleep or at work. Might have to start asking strangers to take photos LOL.
Thank you for your lovely comment on my New Mum Online blog today xxx
Definitely give hubby a nudge when he is awake and home or seek out some trustworthy strangers :D Unfortunately, Scatty Dad and my idea of a good photo differ massively. I like to get close to the subject where he stands miles away hence the photo this week being a DIY jobby. My pleasure, I loved reading your post and finding your new website too xxx
