This is the first official Mummy Mugshot post and as discussed in my post last week introducing Mummy Mugshot, I decided on ‘kisses’ as a theme.
I can’t stop kissing my boys cheeks as they’re so chubby and scrummy but I don’t think we have any photos documenting these moments and it won’t be long before they’re shrugging me off and their chubby cheeks will be chubby no more. It turned out to be a little harder than I thought to get a nice pic with the theme ‘kisses’. Here are a couple of my early attempts with Pooh Bear but he wasnt really in the mood for posing or kissing…
…and I might as we’ll not be in the photo for all you can see of me!
Luckily, today I was able to get a lovely photo with Spud at Nickelodeon Land in Blackpool. Pooh Bear was asleep being watched by my parents so Scatty Daddy, Spud and myself went in search of Diego (he’s not actually in the maze but this was the mission Spud had set us) in the Chinese Puzzle Maze. We have just found the exit, although I took a bit of convincing it wasn’t another dead end (ok, you were right Scatty Dad), and Spud was excited ‘We WINNED!!!’
We had a celebratory smooch and off we skipped for an ice cream :)

I really need to join you, I will have to ask the hub to take some photos of me and the kiddies later. It’s just he is not the best with the camera, that is why there are hardly any photos of me, he will have to get better!!

Love your photo and the quote is a really lovely idea too. I think the theme for next week is ‘When I was Young’ so a pic of you when you were young and one of you with your little one/s. There is a company wanting to link up with their fans on facebook so just confirming with them before I can definitely confirm with you. If you want to be extra prepared, week after is of course Halloween/Bonfire Night :)
this is such a great linky idea and i really hope it does well for you lovely . everything you wrote rings true with me too, and having been through hundreds and hundreds of photos tonight i struggled to find any!! Over 3 years worth too!

Thank you. I’m really looking forward to the coming weeks and making memories with my boys. Such a shame you couldn’t find a photo to link up with but it just goes to show how Mums are missing out on getting in on the action and are more comfortable, or just find themselves behind the camera rather than in front x

Totally late on this one but I have finally managed to get a few photos of myself and the kids and a super one with both of them kissing me :)
