Both boys make us laugh every day but today, they made me chuckle out loud and I thought I’d share it with you lot…
SPUD
Today, I attempted to make meringues for the first time and they went pretty well. They also turned out to be the toddler equivalent to crack! Spud had a 20 minute tantrum when I said he couldn’t have anymore but before his meltdown, he asked me…
“Can I have another Orangutan please Mummy”
POOH BEAR
I wish I’d filmed this but Pooh Bear decided he’d had enough dinner and toddled over to me as I was eating cottage cheese with chives straight out of the tub (how ladylike!).
I knew what he was thinking.
Yoghurt.
I told him it was cheese (which is his new word so you’d think he’d have understood) but he starting bouncing up and down panting excitedly so I gave him a bit on the end of the spoon. He chuckled with delight.
Then his face dropped.
I laughed.
He actually said “Bleurgh” and spat it right out.
He learnt a valuable lesson on not making assumptions and always listen to Mummy :)
I’ve linked up with the lovely Actually Mummy’s ‘Wot So Funnee’ linky for the second time now (click here for the first) so please click on the badge below and see who else has linked up.

bless him, but serves him right in the nicest way possible
hee hee! I did try and explain and I thought he might like it anyway. Think it was the fact he was expecting fruity yoghurt and got chives and cheese :D
Ha! Bleurgh! Perfect word for a disappointed toddler. Don’t know how you resisted giving another meringue though ;)
It involved me repeating the word ‘NO!’ quite loudly for 20 minutes with not much in between. Very grown up of me :D
