I am very excited to be joining in with the BritMums #ONEMums campaign which is primarily following Jennifer from Jenography and Michelle from Mummy from the Heart on their trip to Ethiopia with ONE International to see what life is like and how ‘proven, cost-effective solutions save lives and build sustainable futures’
OK, so what or who is ONE???
ONE is not a charity but a “campaigning organisation that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political leaders to support smart and effective policies and programs that are saving lives, helping to put kids in school and improving futures.”
ONE doesn’t want your money, they want your voice. They are saving lives by lobbying leaders to keep their promises and raising awareness and I am doing my bit by writing a few blog posts, tweeting and sharing on facebook too.
My first ONE post is a lovely Meme which was created by ‘Seasider in the City’. Using the letters ONEMum/s, write what it means to you to be a Mum.
It was harder than I thought being restricted to words beginning with certain letters but I got there in the end…
I’m tagging four fellow bloggers who are also helping to spread the word and making their voices count:
The Ramblings of a Formerly Rock ‘n’ Roll Mum
And if you haven’t been tagged DON’T WORRY!!! You can add your blog post to the linky here on Seasider in the City and don’t forget to join ONE and add your voice. You can also tweet @ONECampaign and use hashtags #ONEMum and #ONEMom to do your bit and make your voice heard.

I love how you have done that! Thank you so much for joining in
Thanks you and my pleasure (shame I missed the S off the end but don’t tell anyone ;)
