Justin’s Funny Faces

Is there a parent of toddlers/preschoolers in the UK who hasn’t heard of Justin Fletcher?  If there is, I have yet to find one and if you are that one, here he is on the front of his new activity book ‘Justin’s Funny Faces’

My boys go crazy for stickers so I knew this was going to be a hit from the start.  I wasn’t however sure whether Spud would like the fact that you were limited to making faces as he is quite abstract when it comes to being creative.
He actually LOVED it!
The stickers are reusable which is brilliant for encouraging creativity and there are 15 blank faces and plenty of stickers to play around with.  You can stick the stickers which are specific to each face on or make an entirely new and original, ‘funny face’ which I guess is where the name of the book came from.
Spud has a bit of a thing for Monsters so, predictably he went straight for that one and here it is in all it’s glory (Spud wasn’t in the mood to have his photo taken on this particular day)…

The book would make a great Christmas present and is brilliant for an activity bag.  My parents have an activity bag they take out with the boys and it’s filled with little toys, colouring pencils, paper, books etc to keep the boys entertained when they go out and especially when they eat out.  Little people don’t like to be sat at a table without anything to do while you wait for food to be served!
Justin’s Funny Faces is being launched on 4th October 2012 so is available to buy from all good bookstores on the high street and online from then.  If you can’t wait until then for a bit of Justin fun, you can follow him on Twitter @_JustinFletcher and of course, he appears daily on CBeebies.
When you run out and buy your copy, why not tweet me ( @scattymumofboys ) and Justin a picture of your little monkey’s creations using the hashtag #stuckonjustin
