Can I Call Myself an Author?

I am very pleased to announce that my book has been published!!! Break open the champers – you’re all invited to the launch.  I’m thinking a minimalist London Art Gallery with champagne, fancy canapes and filled to the brim with my contemporaries…Oooh! and Cakepops! There absolutely has to be Cakepops!

Well… I say MY book… when it is really the work of Joanne Mallon – freelance parenting journalist, life and career coach and a parent of two.  She is also the author of a very amusing blog – Joanne the Coach

The book in question is ‘Toddlers: An Instruction Manual: A Guide to Surviving the Years One to Four (Written by Parents, for Parents) and it discusses all the usual pit falls of raising a toddler but offers real tips from real parents.

And guess what…

I am one of those parents! Yes, little old me has contributed to a published book.  Can you tell how excited I am about this?

You can purchase the book from Amazon in Paperback and e-book for Kindle versions.

Nell James Publishers says:

” ‘Toddlers: an instruction manual’ celebrates the qualities we love about toddlers, and suggests ways to navigate their less appealing aspects. We cannot stop your toddler from tormenting you, but we can help you get through with your sanity (just about) intact.

Written with warmth and understanding, ‘Toddlers: an instruction manual’ is a practical guide to parenting your child when the challenges may seem to outnumber the good bits and you most need a helping hand. “

Also, part of the royalties from the book are donated to Home Start , one of the UK’s leading family support charities.

I have not received anything in return for contributing to this book or writing and publicising this post.
